Meditation is the ancient universal way for coming back home to our original nature. Meditation is considered as the most mystical process, for diving deep into our natural state of Consciousness.
The truth is that we don’t need many practices and techniques to reach that state because that’s our essential nature being in that pure presence. We only need to be continuously alert, conscious, aware, whatsoever we do.
What goes out of this natural state is only our attention, which jumps in the activity of the mind and creates disturbance. When we are strongly identified with our attention we can easily get lost. But, as we began to meditate which means being more alert, we remain a witness and we move underneath the rising and falling waves of activity of the mind, the emotions, the senses, the memory and imagination. Underneath all that usual activity of our awareness, there is the vibrating silence of our very own highest Self – The purity of our Absolute Consciousness.
We are used to do everything through the mind and everything is done by the mind except meditation. So that’s why it is said where mind ends, meditation begins. Being only a witness is what creates the separation from the mind and that’s the key of meditation…
The miracle of watching is called meditation. Meditation is our natural state.
Observation is the nature of the Self. Meditation is not something that we can do. We can just become meditative. As breathing happens by itself we do not make it to happen we can only become aware of our breathing process just by observing. Fortunately life is just happening, we don’t make it. Our job is just to relax and enjoy in the process of happening. When we create necessary atmosphere in our body, mind and emotional energy meditation must blossom.

There are many of them and they are so powerful. And the good news are that each one of us without exception can reach the state of pure perfection because we all have within us an unlimited potential for peace, joy, love and happiness.
The main benefit of meditation is that it carries aliveness with you throughout the day.
Daily meditation is good for reducing stress. The right moment to begin to meditate and became clear minded is when we have of lot of distractive thoughts.
In the state of enlightenment our ego melts away all the judgements and criticisms all the emotional baggage that we have and we became one with the source with the entire Universe.
The other benefit is that Meditation makes us happier.
Through habit we are conditioned to believe that we must get something that we want to makes us happy. But this is not true. The happiness is not in the thing we want and what causes us to feel the lack of happiness is that through desire we perceive our happiness to be in the external thing. But the truth is that the happiness is always here not dependent of any particular circumstance of our personal experience.
Example, if we respond to life’s difficulties with a positive or peaceful mind they would not be problems for us, they will be only challenges or opportunities for our spiritual growth. But if we react to difficult situations with a negative state of mind only then problems will arise. And the more we feed them energetically the stronger they would appear. Therefore, if for us is important to be free from influence of the problems we must gain control of our mind.
If we are having busy external life, then Focused attention meditation is to train our mind, for the effortless inner silence and deeper states of consciousness can be discovered. Then we come to the place of Effortless Presence which is the state where the attention is not focused on anything in particular, but on itself as Choiceless Awareness of our Pure Being.
Naturally we all desire union, merging and entering into that mystical space. We merge into the beautiful purity the Heart. What do we find there? Who is it that always dwells in the Heart, of our Heart, the Heart of reality, the Heart of each one? Inseparably, eternally present, never absent, never gone from there – the lotus of the Heart is the dwelling place, the temple of the Highest.
When human beings have the experience of the overwhelming revelation of the sacredness of life, there is this natural instinct to fall to one’s knees, the natural posture of bowing is its true bodily gesture.
Meditation is about consciousness and our philosophy and religious belief is not important. Therefore, mediation can be practiced by people of different religions or no religion. Meditation also can take us to a more elevated world and bring us light and wisdom but for that all that we need to have is just inner discipline.
