Among the seven chakras, the sixth dimension is called Ajna. It is a mystical chakra that represents intuition – your inner sight. The inner realm of you! And it known as the Home of Spirit. It is a pure sense of knowing and following your spiritual connection. Ajna is called the third eye because you see things the way they are. You see everything from completely different dimension. It is the ability to see life beyond the normal limitations of your perception. The color for this chakra is indigo. That’s why some children are called the “Indigo Children” because they are born with their Third Eye fully opened. Third eye is not a physical thing. You have new clarity and vision of life. It is located slightly above where the eyebrows meet. It gives you a total clarity of how things are how the fundamental life is. Dimensions which cannot be expressed logically.
Its natural element is light. This energy center is associated with higher knowledge, the subtler aspects of sight, and intuition. We live in a visual culture and being able to see clearly with correct perception yourself and the world will help you manifest your best life.
The imbalance of the subtle energy around the body shows up in our chakras.
If your energy is dominant in your sixth chakra you are intellectually raised, you see things clearly, you see everything the way it is. Our physical two eyes can be deceptive; they see only what is necessary for our survival. When your third eye opens, your perception has risen beyond the physical. It is the sea of the Soul. You will begin to hear thing which have not been said.
There are beings which are called Intuitive empaths. They have sensitivity to feel what other people are going through. In Sanskrit word it means “beyond wisdom”.
The famous philosopher Descartes described the pineal gland as the “principal seat of the soul”. It sits alone in the middle of the brain and at the same level as the eyes. A section of the brain that is located behind the third cerebral ventricle in the brain mid-line (between the two cerebral hemispheres). It controls the action of light upon our body. When the external world disappears, our circle of consciousness becomes focused upon our inner self. This inner attention magnetizes “spiritual light” into the pineal gland.
Mental Signs of Blocked Ajna Energy
When the sixth chakra is out of alignment, you may also feel mental confusion. You will have difficulties to focus in life, being detached and distant from others you may suffer from intellectual stagnation, headaches and unclear thinking.
The signs which are blocking your sixth chakra are:
- Difficulty concentrating
As you work to open the Ajna chakra, you can begin to see things as they actually are without the projection and color of the ego. From there, you can begin to move toward the things you value in life more efficiently. The whole spiritual process that we are doing is to raise our perception from a limited physically perception to a higher place of perception.
Cosmic vision illuminates everything as it is without the filter of our past, our expectations, or our judgment.
The energy of Ajna (Our third eye) is part of our energetic body and gives us access to our inner guidance that comes from the depths of our being.
When we have a sense of knowing, we automatically become more confident, more trustful in life, also living at the present moment relieves our mind from the illusion of everyday life. Nothing is casual, everything becomes so fresh, each moment of our experience is so worth of being here.
Intuition takes many forms and shapes. Sometimes when we have strong need for something it comes from unknown way and it happens often in the moment that we least expect; it shows up especially when we free ourselves from the expectations that life must go according to the map that we create in our mind. There are many examples and proofs of that. For example if we are thinking about someone and then a few moments later they call us. It is a attuning energetically in synchronicity with another person. Another example is when we listen to the language of our body. When we are in strong harmonious connection with our intuition, we can detect what is harmful or helpful. If we eat something which is toxic, a strong reaction happens – like throwing up.
Our Ego always have a hard time accepting the fact that we’re trying to focus ourselves on the intuition rather on a logic thinking, and will continue to throw all kinds of distractions on our way but once we see, realize and taste life from our natural state it will be easier to catch him each time he tries to pull us again in our old habitual pattern.
This chakra rules the expansion of our third dimensional consciousness towards the conscious perception of the fourth dimension. It represents the stage of life where we are self-realized beings who have learned to live in harmony with ourselves and with others.
