The human body is a masterpiece of the Nature. It is created from pure intelligence and continuously is renewed with energy so the organism can continue to live.
Sleeping has a great part of this renewal and it is a process through which a higher vibration can connect with the physical body. Even the dreaming produces a content which can be mental or emotional that is not a barrier for the higher energies to restore, give rest and heal.
Science has made a great development in deepening our understanding of dreaming but yet they remain a great mystery among humanity. Einstein has said that, “The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious’’, so maybe that’s why dreaming has major effect in our lives.
The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious
In the dreaming also a world is seen senses are functioning and even our actual body is lying in a bed, in the dream we can walk, travel somewhere, having different experience and that’s felt real in that moment. If rain falls we feel wet, we also feel thirst in a dream, we feel hunger as well. When we wake up all this is taking place in our head. And then, we forget about the dream as we forget this state of awakening when we enter the dream.
So from here the question may arise: What makes this state more real?
Many spiritual teachers claim that even this world is just a dream and that there is awakening even from even this waking state that we experience as a ‘’real life’’.
If we go deeper it is true that we can see that whatever happens we are consciously watching each experience that happens in front of our Awareness the pure Witness that is beyond the tree states waking, dreaming and sleeping.
There are some theories about dreaming the scientists have discussed:
One of them is that we dream to fulfill our wishes. Sigmund Freud proposed that all of our dreams including our nightmares are collection of images of our daily conscious life. So, according to him by analyzing those remember elements from our dream, our unconscious content will be revealed to our conscious mind. Freud also said that whether we intend it or not, we’re all poets. That’s because on most nights, we dream. And dreams are lot like poetry, in that in both, we express our internal life in similar ways.
There is another theory that the scientists have discussed and it is that mind keeps emotions going while we are awake and many believe that mind detaches from emotions while we are dreaming and that’s why after sleeping we can determinate if we can take a certain action.
Ernest Hartmann, a doctor at Tufts, he focuses on the emotional learning that happens in dreams. He has developed the theory that dreaming puts our difficult emotions into pictures. In dreams, according to him, we deal with emotional content in a safe place.
According to Native American legends they say that the sleep of the Creator of this planet was filled with dreams about his creation. It is said that he wanted a perfect plan so he thought so hard that he became very tired and fell asleep. Then, when he awakened he realized that the world of his dream became his creation.
From generation to generations it was told to Native Americans that we should not question our dreams because they are our essential creation.
